Incoming Students
We especially support students from abroad who would like to do their studies or a semester abroad in Bonn. The prerequisites for this, as well as the crediting of study achievements, can best be explained in a study counseling interview, in person, by telephone or by email. ISAP stands for "International Study and Education Partnership" and is considered an institutional cooperation between German and foreign universities around the world. The Institute of Earth Sciences in Bonn has an active partnership with the Departement of Mining Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú within the framework of the DAAD-supported program.
Recently, the University of Bonn, in particular the Institute for Geosciences, has been participating in the South America Study Bridge. Here, South American students with good to very good German language skills get an insight into German university life. At this point, lecturers of the Institute of Geosciences will organize an introductory lesson in the geosciences.
